Working in wood and stone, my inspiration is drawn from nature; the ebb and flow of wind, wave, fire, and its effects on natural forms.
Root splits rock, wave erodes rock to sand, wind and sand sculpts rock.
The pieces are often made from found natural materials, which dictates sometimes the final direction of the sculpture; by carving, burning, piercing, binding etc. the sculptures take their shape.
